New Delhi, twenty fifth September 2023: The second day of the first Hockey India Sub Junior Males & Ladies East Zone Championship 2023 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, noticed Hockey Jharkhand, Hockey Bihar, and Hockey Affiliation of Odisha register victories of their respective matches within the Sub Junior Ladies’s class, whereas Hockey Affiliation of Odisha and Manipur Hockey emerged victorious of their respective video games within the Sub Junior Males’s class.  

The primary recreation of the day noticed Hockey Jharkhand beat Manipur Hockey by 9-0 in Pool A of the Sub Junior Ladies’s class. The purpose scorers for Hockey Jharkhand have been Hemrom Leoni (1’, 15’, 32’), Mundu Sukarmani (13’, 39’), Aind Neha (37’, 47’), Mundri Saroj (6’) and Jojo Jubaliani (43’). 

Hockey Bihar beat Hockey Bengal by 4-0 within the second match from Pool A of the Sub Junior Ladies’s class. Singh Sapna (16’) opened the account for Hockey Bihar adopted up by objectives from Bijli Kumari (27’), Kumari Anjali (41’), and Akansha Yadav (47’).

Kerketta Mandeep (3’, 9’, 15’, 25’, 27’, 30’) led the goalscoring efforts for Hockey Affiliation of Odisha with Majhi Asit (12’), Barla Sujit (19’, 33’), Lakra Ritik (21’, 24’, 50’, 60’), Dadel Jaystanley (24’), Lakra Ashish (37’), Amit Kiro (42’), Lakra Bimal (52’), and Bidyananda Singh Yumkham (58’) the remainder of the objectives. 

The final match of the day noticed Manipur Hockey beat Hockey Bengal by 5-0 in Pool A of the Junior Males’s class. The goalscorers for Manipur Hockey have been Lisham Max Singh (30’) and Captain Sushil Lisham (32’, 37’, 40’, 47’).
