CINCINNATI — Pirates supervisor Derek Shelton stated Chicago Cubs‘ skipper David Ross’ remark that Pittsburgh is “not a very good crew” was “unlucky.”

Ross made his remark after the Pirates’ 8-6 win over the Cubs on Thursday at Wrigley Subject, their second straight victory over Chicago.

“That is not a very good crew that simply took two out of three from us — or not our caliber crew, I consider,” Ross advised reporters.
